I ALWAYS KNEW I WAS A "BAD PARENT"

Check me out on Babble's Bad Parent column! I promise not to let the fame go to my head. Or my upper lip. (I've got to get my kid a fake mustache.)

Thanks, guys! I think December's SELF should have one of my pieces. I fully plan on going to the Conde Nast building and having my picture taken while holding the article. There's nothing geeky about that, right?

Right?

That was great! I gave you 5 stars!(And Btw walking early doesn't mean that a kid will be more physically adept in the long run. My girl, who walked early is the biggest klutz, and my son, who walked months after his 1st birthday, is an x-games type, sporty, coordinated dude! So not to worry! -easier said than done!)

congrats!
I can't read it as I get redirected to the aussie babble site which has a different bad parent this week, but hopefully they will show it here too eventually.

My ped told me the average babay doesn't walk until 15 months, so your child is just falling a little on the older side of the curve---don't be concerned. Also, you will be happy when he is starting school and all that extra crawling helped build his upper body strength that is so important for writing. Have you ever tried to get a 4 year old boy to hold a pencil, not fun...
