You know that mercury-in-corn-syrup thing that no one seems to be talking about? Here's a list of the most dangerous products. Quaker oats, huh? Who knew?
She says the media is hyping the story to scare the general populace. Fear sells and all that. I don't necessarily disbelieve her, although I do note that the foods on that list are clearly well over the safety limits.
Interesting, but I'm sure you're with me on this point: Bottom line, it's crappy for us, it's crappy for the planet. If it also has mercury, no matter WHAT the amount, I'm not eating it. (Preaching to the choir, I know...)

No. no. Not Quaker Oats - Quaker Oats TO GO. You scared me.
I just have ordinary rolled oats, not the kill-you-now-with mercury kind. Whew!
Makes me glad that I don't eat all of those things on the list though!
Actually, have you read this article?

I think I'll stick with sugar as well.
