It's true, I am making blueberry pancakes from scratch. It is also true that I just dropped a pancake on the floor, picked it up, washed it off, and threw it back in the skillet to re-cook.
I'm actually impressed you bothered to wash it off at all.....wouldn't have happened in our house. A nice blow, and we're back on the plate around here.
Oh yeah, now that I've slid this far I suspect I'll be, um (searching for reference to blowing on food but only coming up with NSFW choices) I'll be doing what you're doing, J!
That's the ONLY kind of blow currently happening in our house, Ali. I'm 30 weeks pregnant. After Alex goes to bed, anyone getting within 3 feet of me I start screaming about how they're popping my bubble. ;)

This is nothing new in our family....
So I am guessing that the pancake must have been nearly done for this to have been successful?
I was transferring it to the plate when it hit the floor. So I rinsed it off and put it back on the griddle to dry. Don't tell my husband.

I think most everybody does that, but only a precious few are willing to come out of the closet.
