They told me the weight estimates were off for my twins and that they are most accurate for singletons.<BR/><BR/>Um...maybe I shouldn't have said that?<BR/><BR/>Eee!<BR/><BR/>Actually, the "check" they're talking about is the poking you in the privates in a subjective test to determine whether you are dilated or effaced. Turns out that they can be WRONG in their subjective measure, too. I had one doc telling me that I was somewhat effaced, but later that turned out to be completely wrong. They'll check you until probably week 38.
